Wardrobe malfunction
S.O.L. #6 out of 31
It isn't as scandalous as it sounds but still a “malfunction”. This weekend I got a new pair of shoes and was excited to wear them today. There was once a day when I could wear cute shoes, but that is no longer. Nowadays, I am after comfort before fashion. So my new shoes are a comfy, suede-covered pair of slip-ons with squishy insoles. At the end of a long day at school, I was delighted that I wore them all day long and didn't have achy feet. Until………………...…
I looked down and realized………….
the tags were still attached

from the back of my right shoe!!!!
That wasn't the end of it. I grabbed my coat from the closet to put it on and head home. I connected the zipper pieces, tugged at the zipper, as I have several hundred times, only this time, the metal zipper broke off in my hand. Umpth!!!!!
Those craft supplies came in handy as I dug out a pipe cleaner. I quickly thread it through the small piece still attached to the zipper and easily zipped up my coat. Dandy!!
Good thing I grabbed the silverish pipe cleaner. I wouldn't want to look tacky. (said with sarcasm)
Niiiice....and nobody told you all day. Maybe nobody noticed.
ReplyDeleteFunny! So no one told you about your tags? I always wonder both whether to tell someone and whether someone will let me know if something is goofy about my attire.
ReplyDeleteI love that you crafted a title to entice readers. This was a fun read, and not tacky at all! Now I'm going to check my shirts for tags stil attached!
ReplyDeleteLaughing out loud as I read this post! First of all, I love that you lead with "wardrobe malfunction" - I had all sorts of pictures in my head. However, your reality was funnier than anything I had imagined. Thanks for the chuckle!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Recently, I wore black boots to work but had two different black boots on. I get the wardrobe mishaps all to well!
