If I can do this..

S.O.L. #27 out of 31
If I can do this...
I can do anything!  (almost)

(Almost) Completing this Slice of Life Challenge (for the second time) has taught me that.....

.... the first time wasn't just a fluke.
.....I do have time and there is "a round- tu-it"

...I can commit to something and stick with it!
...I have perseverance. ( I can do something, even when it is hard or I don't want to do it.)

....I am a model for my students, colleagues, family members, even my own children.
....ideas will grow into something beautiful when you put them on paper.

....writing moves me.
....my writing can move others.

....sharing writing can be scary.
.....getting feedback from others is gratifying.

....there are great things going on in education that excite me.
.....I can continue growing and learning.

.....I am a writer.
.....it is worth it.

This has given me so much confidence in myself.  I feel like I can do anything I put my mind to. Now, on to the next challenge.  I saw this on Pinterest. I am going to try it.

At least I think I can do it,
before I would never have even considered doing it.
Oh the places you'll go......

  1. The arm challenge sounds good to me, too. Don't worry about the almost--success is not in the # of posts or the time tie of the post. Success is in writing and reflecting on your blog as well as in collaborating and sharing and supporting one another.

  2. I love body challenges like the "arm challenge" but was nervous about this writing challenge, because as you say: "sharing writing can be scary". You are right though, the feedback was/is gratifying and sometimes encourages you to keep going! I feel like I need a month or so after the challenge to just find blogs (like yours) I haven't even seen yet!
